Perkins was a post season pick up from Springfield, Missouri. He had already played a few times for the gang in the '06 summer season, but was only called up when needed. He now has a permanent spot on the roster as an outfielder. His arm could throw an egg through a brick wall. Nate bats left handed, taking advantage of any unseasoned right fielders. The future looks bright for this gang rookie.
